Made the trek out to Dubuque yesterday to pick the 86 200X up. It ain’t pretty but...

Kinja'd!!!

The plastics and seat cover are toast but the tank is immaculate as are the tires. The rear shock needs a rebuild and for some reason someone welded the rear wheel hubs to the axle. This is a problem if I want to do any basic maintenance back there. Overall it’s a good score!

Now, the 250SX I dragged home last week is being traded for a Yamaha Blaster that has a new top end tomorrow. With a little luck I can turn that into cash or a trade for another 200X. The goal is to have one from every year 1983-1987.

Nice! How many of these have come and gone in, say, the last two months?

I really restrained myself in December as I was hoping for prices to drop in January. I was so freaking wrong!

Between November and now I’ve had 4 Trikes and 2 Dirt Bikes roll through. It won’t make me rich but it is a heck of a lot of fun!
